What is required to order an HSE card?
The employee must have a social security number or D number to apply for a card. They must also be registered in the Aa Register. Owners of personal enterprises (ENK, DA or ANS) do not need to be registered in the Aa Register.
Foreign employees only need to register with the Central Tax Office for Foreign Affairs, which assigns D-numbers and retains information about the employment.
The employer must be registered in the Register of Legal Entities and the Value Added Tax Register. Cleaning companies must also be approved by the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority.
