How do I renew my building licence?
You can renew your building card in the following ways:
- Register your application to renew building card electronically here.
- Send an email to [email protected]
- Call us on 6200 6200 and we will guide you on how to renew your building licence.
- After you have completed the process, you will receive a temporary building card within 48 hours
When does my building licence need to be renewed?
The building card is valid for two years. The expiry date is printed on the card.
The building permit must be renewed before the expiry date. If a Building Permit has expired, the Labour Inspection Authority or others who control the scheme can refuse the employee to work.
If you lose your building card you must report it as lost and submit a new order. We will then produce a new card for you
